The Ghostleague season 2 final was played the 21st of June 2009 between the unbeaten team xup^ and Group A's top dog and more or less last season's runner up (together with HBS) VEGA.
That night the following line-ups were present:

As you probably already noticed or heard the well oiled German machine called VEGA won this final very confidently by taking 5 rounds versus xup's 1 round. Not really what we expected after a great season with lots of exciting matches! This is partly to blame to Virus' impressive play in the final, and the calm and structured play from his team!
The Ghostleague admins and its players want to congratulate VEGA for winning this season! We hope to see you back next season again if there is still enough interest from the Ghost Recon/ Ghostleague community!
The 3rd and 4th place finishes aren't determined yet, we'll report the results as soon as possible after FiRe's match against *GR*!

In those countries we mostly are gaming with, summer is knocking on the door, even here at northeren side spring is getting an grip. So it's good time to do anything else than gaming, heh... ;)
Also this time of the year seems to be the busiest of all so dont worry if you're not able to make matches so quick. Summer cup will start but you dont need to get active right away with it! Late joining allowed there! It's going to be really "seriously easy going" tournament, so relax! :) Maybe next week or week after it we will launch Summer Cup.
Need to admit my hands are now filled with studies and some works, so havent been able to do so much lately. But season will be brought to an end, finals included; maybe will take some time but dont worry! ;)
GL & HF all! We'll get some exciting games in our hands at summer - OFP2 and Arma2, so maybe follower for GR finally will be born! |

Season 2. Play-off -table and matches are done!
Teams are free to start schedule matches. Play-off's consists from 3 round systems (1/4 , 1/2 , 1/1 ) games. Every round needs to be finished (means : every game needs to be played before next round starts), so heads up! Time to match for real now teams...
